SMS Compliance

Aopy complies with Romanian telecommunications law (OUG 111/2011) and ANCOM regulations governing commercial SMS communications. We only send SMS messages to contacts who have given explicit consent.

You can opt out of SMS marketing messages from our platform at any time by replying to any SMS with:

• STOP — to unsubscribe from all SMS communications
• DEZABONARE — to unsubscribe (Romanian equivalent)

Your opt-out is processed automatically and takes effect immediately. You will receive a single confirmation message and then no further SMS marketing communications.

Transactional SMS messages (e.g., order confirmations, password resets) are not affected by the STOP opt-out.

Aopy operates as a reseller of SMS services via Bird (MessageBird B.V.) and complies with ANCOM requirements for commercial SMS communications in Romania. [REPLACE with ANCOM registration number/shortcode details.]

All SMS messages sent via the Aopy platform include a sender ID that clearly identifies the sending organisation. Sender IDs are registered and approved per ANCOM regulations.

When you opt out via STOP or DEZABONARE, your phone number is added to a suppression list. This record is retained indefinitely to ensure you are not re-contacted, even if your contact record is recreated.
